Writing: A blessing
The most magical thing in the world?
“The beauty of writing” has been on my mind for a long time now. Every time I sit down to write, I wonder - does everyone experience this? Or is it just me? So, I decided to test it out…
Did it work with me every time?
Yes.
For the magic to work, you have to write your thoughts and post them somewhere. It can be a WhatsApp group (if you fear being judged by people) for the start or social media, but sharing is essential.
So when you write - a story with your opinion, some past experience, takeaway from something or any data analysis - and post it, people read and visualize your style of thinking. And once that happens, your work is done. Whether someone praises your thoughts, points out flaws, or challenges your ideas, each reaction forces you to reconsider, refine and evolve your thinking. It helps in filling the gaps in your thinking style.
So, your only effort is to put together something authentic. Whether it is rational or stupid, nature will decide and improve automatically.
I learned this the hard way. A few years ago, before posting my thoughts on social media, I would always overthink, every possibility; this line here is not good, let me rephrase, or that conclusion there is debatable, I should exclude it, etc. Through this process, I’ve come to realize that writing isn’t about getting the words right. It’s about letting them breathe, sharing them and letting them grow.
